Redux offers complete custom-built gaming PC’s for the ‘non-elite’ gamer, charging little to no mark-up on each component, and only charge $75 USD for the actual construction of the custom unit.
Redux wanted a website that allowed this customer to build the gaming PC that met all of their needs, within budget and made the entire process uncomplicated and fast.
A Groundbreaking Custom Build.
Using Shopify Plus, Zyber well and truly stretched the capabilities of Shopify Plus so much so that you would never even know the site was built on there. Our incredible team of designers and developers created something amazing.
When designing and building the Redux website, there was a huge focus on ease of use and ensuring every step of the customer journey was seamless, guided by custom visual aids to clearly communicate the computer specifications and cost.
The goal was to equip the customer with the right amount of product choice and customisation to build a great product, without overwhelming them with complicated decisions and unnecessary information.
Creating a ‘Game Like’ experience for the Customer.
The Redux site is unique in that the customer doesn’t see or have the option to purchase products from a standard product page or ‘Collection’. All of the products in the back end of the Redux site are customised and are determined by the choices made by the customer to build the computer that suits their needs.
At every step of the customer journey, the website is highly visual and showcases custom animations built by the team at Zyber. Each of these custom animations were designed to enhance UX, feel like a game and guide the customer through the purchase process. The animations work seamlessly on both mobile and desktop.
All in all, this build truly showcases just how far you can push Shopify Plus. The Redux team have a site that is entirely custom and fulfils their customer needs, yet they can rest easy using the reliable CMS of Shopify Plus and easily manage their back end operations.
